Company History

Island Electronics (Security & Monitoring) Ltd is a Caymanian owned company, established in 1986 by well known local businessman, Mr. George Hunter. The Company was the first to introduce Electronic Security Systems and Residential and Commercial Monitoring in the Cayman Islands.

The Company's Mission Statement is “To provide dependable, quality service delivered with integrity and on a consistent basis, and to be a responsible business leader in the local community”. When we make a promise, we deliver on it! The safety and security of our clients is of paramount importance to us and we have built our business model and our service infrastructure around this philosophy, at the expense of achieving higher profits.

Residential and Commercial Security Monitoring

You can rest easy knowing that our residential and commercial monitoring is done on island, 24 hours and 7 days a week, is always industry-leading. Our Central Monitoring Station is located right here in the Cayman Islands. In addition to our 24-hour monitoring service, we also offer Emergency Response Service, whereby if there is an event at your home or business and we are unable to reach you, we will dispatch a member of our Team to secure your premises and protect it until either the Police, or you, arrive.
